When I participated in the week 4 tutorial we were presented with the image of the young girl running naked and for her life when they dropped agent orange in Vietnam...most people have seen this image which evokes lots of different emotions for different people. Images such as these can be used to support critical thinking in a classroom by hooking in students and their emotions on a particular topic or subject.
Digital videos are a great tool for students to use in the classroom. It allows individual or collaborative work and supports student's creativity. I produced my own movie for the subject The Arts which shows my journey through the arts. I used Windows MovieMaker and found it to be user-friendly.
